WebDial is a product of Kerkia, a provider of free software.

It is a personnalizable cross-platform, cross-browser home page, that gives the quickest access to both your most favorites web pages and web search engines. It aims at allowing you to reach your destiny over the world wide web within as few clicks as possible, yet with a graphical interface that is very intuitive and easy-to-use.

Your webnails, those thumbnails that represent your most favorite web pages, and your search options are specific to your computer and your web browser, yet can also be synchornized between multiple computers and web browsers should you wish to do so. This gives you the most flexibility to adapt those to your liking, yet without any need for installing browser extensions or other desktop software.

Search settings: we provide a complete list of search providers. The settings can be used for you to choose which search providers you want to see in the main page, and which is selected by default, for each search category. Should your favorite search provider(s) be missing from this list, please do contact us and we'll be happy to make the necessary additions.

Webnails settings: for each webnail, the number of webnails being up to you, you can provide the address (url) of the web page you'd like as well as the webnail title; if you leave this empty then WebNail will try and get the title from the actual page and will display the url if it can't access the page. We then take care of getting the icon and gather the corresponding image from a 3rd party web service. Should our server fail to reach the page, typically when it is behind a firewall, then the thumbnail will be replarec by a mini-version of the actual page. You can use the settings page to preview the images and refresh the icon and title inforamtion.

Synchronization: this page gives you the personnalized key that is currently used by your web browser and computer. You can copy it to just save it or to apply the same key to another browser and/or computer. You can also replace it with another key you are already using in order to immediately synchronize your settings with another computer/web browser. Changes made to your settings can then be simply saved, by just noting down the key, or synchornized between your various computers and web browsers.
